Eraser Celebrates 100th Anniversary
The Eraser Company, Inc., manufacturer of wire, cable, and tube processing solutions, proudly announces achieving 100 years of quality manufacturing.
“The Eraser Company has a profound and meaningful history. Our heritage is defined by superior customer service, innovative and high quality products, and providing solutions to our customers. The 100 year milestone is a validation of this heritage and our mission. Throughout the past 100 years, we’ve fostered a culture of learning, discovery and personal growth, which has enabled us to develop the expertise and tools vital to the success of our customers,” said Marcus BeVard, Chief Executive Officer and President.
Founded in 1911, Eraser manufactured the Rush Fybrglass® Eraser, used for typing and drafting corrections. In the 1940s it was discovered that this tool could be used to strip film insulations from magnet wires. Thus, a product line was born. In February 1996, The Eraser Company, Inc. became ISO registered, a step which underscores their commitment to providing reliable, high-quality products.
Over the past 100 years, Eraser has continuously expanded and refined its product line to include all types of wire processing equipment, including wire, cable, and tubing cutters, wire and cable strippers, wire twisters, wire brush wheels, reelers and dereelers, infrared heating equipment, measuring tools, and FybRglass® erasers.
Using state-of-the-art design software and a highly skilled team of engineers, Eraser continues to add many new and innovative products to the industry.
“Consistent with its motto ‘Always moving forward’, The Eraser Company looks to the future with much anticipation and excitement. Using the knowledge and experience acquired during our first century of serving industrial markets, we’ll explore new markets and opportunities. Through collaboration and partnerships, we’ll continue to develop innovative and value-added products and solutions that will support the growth of our customers and partners,” said Marcus BeVard, Chief Executive Officer and President.
Today, Eraser continues to provide superior industrial processing solutions to a broad customer base around the world.
